The Closing Conference of the Pilot Project for the Promotion of Social Dialogue in the Southern Mediterranean Neighbourhood (SOLiD), will take place on March 14th 2019, in the headquarters of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in Brussels (belgium).
The South Mediterranean Social Dialogue, SOLiD is a three years pilot programme aiming to strengthen dialogue capacity among the social partners, civil society and governments to project a sustainable and a stable institutionalized Social Dialogue in Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan.
This high-level meeting will bring together a number of eminent personalities (political figures, employers, trade unions, civil society organizations, international organizations, etc.) from the two shores of the Mediterranean to highlight the most important outcomes of the three-years project and to adopt its charter on the promotion of social dialogue in the southern Mediterranean Neighbourhood.
SOLiD is co-funded by the European Union (80%) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). It is coordinated by a consortium which consists of 10 members, including ATUC, SOLIDAR and ANND (all three are also stakeholers of the Majalat Project).
